Windows-7-Boot-Screen

What’s wrong?

Windows 7 can be slow for any number of reasons.  These can include:

  • Background Programs
  • Low Disk Space
  • Not enough Memory
  • Faulty Hard Disk Drive
  • Viruses / Malware

Although all of the above are a possibility, the most common cause we find is ‘Not Enough Memory‘.  The memory that was originally installed on your shiny new PC may not be enough to run all those Windows & Software updates that have rolled out since you connected it to the WWW!   With RAM being both inexpensive & readily available – upgrading may be the best option!

How much memory have I got?

RAM

To find out how much memory is currently installed in your computer

  • Click Start
  • In the Search box type “ram” without quotes and click the Show how much RAM is on this computer.

The general rule of thumb is that if you do not have at least 4.00GB of memory installed in Windows 7 – it will be slow.

The most common upgrade we perform are on machines with 2.00GB of RAM.  To arrange a  hassle-free quote, you can contact our support team on 042-9335355.  We’ll get your PC humming like it’s new again!
